Yankee Belle Factoid - Photo taken in September or October 1944. Yankee Belle arrived overseas in June 1944. The plane went down with the Miller crew in early 1945, but all the crew survived as POWs. 2nd Lt. James A. Carlino (not pictured) also flew as Bombardier with the McCombs crew.
