Nine O Nine Factoid - This is likely a photo of two crews that had flown missions on Nine O Nine. Nine O Nine flew 140 missions and survived the war. It flew 126 missions without an abort, a superb tribute to its ground crew headed by M/Sgt. Rollin Davis. He was awared the Bronze Star for his work.

According to handwritten information from Col. Hoffmann's wife, Caroline, provided by Milo Townsend, Col. Hoffman flew 33 combat missions in Hi-Ho Silver, 909, and Naughty Caroline.
