Just Plain Lonesome Factoid - The above photo was taken 4 April 1944. The plane completed 40 sorties. The last on 30 May when shot down with the following crew members: 1st Lt. Zack C. Collier, Pilot, 2nd Lt. John T. Kelleher, Co-pilot; 2nd Lt. William P. Clements, Navigator; 2nd Lt. Harry J. McCermott, Jr., Bombardier; T/Sgt. Stephen Kogut, Radio Operator; T/Sgt. Harry L. Ward, Top Turret Gunner; S/Sgt. Charles J. Semon, Tail Gunner; S/Sgt. George R. Zirnheld, Ball Turret Gunner; S/Sgt. Tommy Cogdill, Waist Gunner. Nine crewmen MIA.
