I would like to contact a bombardier or any crew member who flew on the Dec 31, 1943 mission to Bordeaux/Cognac. Reason: I am trying to find out what method was used for bombing. Was it by sight or some other mmeans. I have a correspondent in France who is compiling data on bombing missions and lost planes.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the stories. Have relayed the first few and everyone on the crew loves them. Keep the stories coming. But also remember, we love any and all photos of the original 909. So please relay any and all photos or copies to us. Either download or email me and I will give you an address. Special note, I got married to a very special girl under the nose of our 909 2 seconds after midnight on Jan 1, 2000. We were the first couple married in the new millinium under the nose of a B17!!!

Hello. I am the nephew of Delmar Spears, radio operator on a B-17 that was shot down near Le Manor, France, August 13, 1944. My uncle was one of the lucky ones who survived and returned home. Thanks for creating this website. I have really enjoyed reading the stories about the men in the 91st Bomber Group. Keep up the good work!
